AWS DevOps Engineer National Security

£60,000 - £100,000 - Holding current UK National Security

Central London - 5 days a week.

All levels SFIA 4 / 5 / 6

If you’re spending too much of your week keeping existing infrastructure running and not enough time improving it, this could be a very different type of DevOps opportunity.

A specialist National Security engineering team is growing and is looking for an AWS-focused DevOps Engineer to help develop and automate secure cloud platforms supporting live programmes.

You’ll join an environment where engineering capability is valued and where you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Cloud, Platform and DevOps specialists.

Rather than being tied to traditional infrastructure support, you’ll be encouraged to automate, experiment, improve and build.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain further clearances - Our client is interested in sponsoring and putting people through the necessary clearance levels.

You should have experience across areas such as:

• AWS
• Terraform
• Kubernetes
• Linux
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code
• Python and/or Bash
• Cloud automation
• Platform reliability

Your existing experience is important, but so is your appetite to develop.

The team can provide exposure to more advanced cloud and platform engineering challenges, making this a strong next step for someone looking to progress beyond a conventional mid-level DevOps position.
